School Introduction
Taoyuan Municipal Guanyin Senior High School is located in the Guanyin District of Taoyuan City, Taiwan. Situated near both the coast and Taiwan’s main airport, it is a unique school equipped with a modern library and a vocational department.
The school offers three educational systems: junior high school, senior high school, and vocational school. The vocational department offers two tracks: chemical engineering and multimedia animation.
Recently the school has undergone several renovations, including a complete remodeling of the junior high building, providing a modern teaching environment to help students stay ahead in this everchanging world.
Guanyin High School has come a long way since its establishment, thanks to the support of the community, with an ongoing expansion of the campus library and the addition of classroom facilities, allowing the school to develop "science," "humanities," and "technology" as its characteristics. At Guanyin High School we hope to continue to push our students to realize their full potential.

Guanyin High School emphasizes e-learning and positions itself as a community-oriented high school. It cultivates students' English proficiency and expertise in a second foreign language, aiming to become a "small-scale, refined, and distinctive" community high school. It combines the establishment of vocational subjects with the creation of an "e-campus" to develop "science," "information," and "technology" as the school's characteristics.

School History
- 1954：Establishment of preparatory committee.
- 1955：Founded as Yangmei High School Guanyin Branch.
- 1957：Became Guanyin Junior High School.
- 1966：Established Guanyin Branch in Baiyu Village.
- 1968：Nationwide implementation of the nine-year compulsory education system. Guanyin Branch became Taoyuan County Guanyin Junior High School, and the school was renamed Taoyuan County Xingpo Junior High School.
- 2010：Establishment of the Preparation Office for Taoyuan County Guanyin Senior High School.
- 2012：Restructured as a comprehensive high school, officially named Taoyuan County Guanyin Senior High School, and began enrolling the first batch of students in the senior high school and vocational departments.
- 2014：With the reorganization of Taoyuan County into a direct-controlled municipality, the school was renamed Taoyuan Municipal Guanyin Senior High School.
- 2018：Renamed Taoyuan Municipal Guanyin Senior Secondary School.

1. Junior High School Division (General Program)
Our Junior High Division spans three grades from 7 to 9, consisting of 7 regular classes, 1 sports class, and 1 self-contained special education class, respectively, bringing the total to 25 classes. Featuring a well-rounded campus plan and software/hardware facilities, coupled with modern architecture of brand-new aesthetics, we offer students an excellent learning environment. Down-to-earth and kind-hearted with a high degree of adaptability, our students enrolled in the Junior High Division enjoy the advantage of a direct admission pathway to our Senior High Division for their future studies.
2. Senior High School Division (General Program)
The Senior High School General Program focuses on cultivating students with both humanistic and technological literacy. A diverse curriculum, including required and elective courses, encourages students to explore their strengths and prepare for higher education. Students are guided to develop independent thinking and lifelong learning skills. The program aims to support students in pursuing admission to top universities.
3. Chemical Engineering Department
The Chemical Engineering Program is designed to develop students’ knowledge and skills in chemical science and industry. Through laboratory training, hands-on experiments, and certification courses, students gain practical experience and professional competence. The program also collaborates with industry partners to connect learning with real-world applications. Students are well-prepared for further studies or careers in the chemical and technology sectors.
4. Multimedia Animation Department
The Multimedia Animation Program focuses on creative design and digital media production. Students learn skills such as animation, web design, and visual communication through a diverse and practical curriculum. The program encourages students to obtain professional certifications and build creative portfolios. Graduates can pursue further studies or careers in animation, design, and digital media industries.
5. Athletic Program
The Athletic Program at Guanyin Senior High School is dedicated to developing both athletic excellence and strong character. Our teams, including judo and rugby, emphasize discipline, teamwork, and perseverance through structured training and competition. Students not only build technical skills, but also learn respect, humility, and resilience. With consistent participation in regional and national competitions, our athletes strive for excellence while growing both physically and mentally.
